The animated blockbuster "Inside Out 2" is the first film of the year to bring in over 1 billion dollars globally, reports Variety. In 19 days, it has taken in the equivalent of nearly 7.2 billion kronor.
No other animated film has reached the billion-dollar mark so quickly, writes Variety.
During its cinema premiere in the USA, the film took in the equivalent of more than 1.6 billion kronor and has surpassed the "Dune" sequel as the year's most lucrative.
