"They shot at my hero and tried to murder the next President of the USA – enough is enough", said Hulk Hogan and tore his shirt apart, continuing to shout: "Let 'Trumpamania' run wild!"

Risk capitalist Peter Thiel, who financed the newly appointed Vice President JD Vance's campaign for senator in 2022, was also behind the financing of Hogan's lawsuit against the online newspaper Gawker, which was forced to shut down after Hogan won the case in 2016, regarding a sex video that the site had published.

Hogan further stated in his speech that he had known Trump for 35 years and the former President had always found a way to win.

Besides politicians and right-wing media personalities, Deadline writes that other guests during the convention's last evening were Dana White, CEO of Ultimate Fighting Championship, Linda McMahon – former CEO of the wrestling organization WWE – as well as the artist Kid Rock.
