It didn't become the Swedish day that many had hoped for in the World Championship downhill in Austrian Saalbach.
Especially not for Anna Swenn Larsson.
The 33-year-old was on her way to a top placement after a fine opening on her run. But a bit more than halfway down, it became too much attack. Swenn Larsson couldn't keep her legs and skied out.
I didn't have many thoughts today. I just tried to relax and ski, she says to Viaplay.
Afterwards, she looked extremely disappointed in the picture, with tears streaming down her cheeks and leaders consoling her.
It's an enormous disappointment. This is probably my last World Championship, so it's tough, she continues.
Nor did Sara Hector get her skiing together during Saturday's World Championship slalom.
The clock was ticking away faster and faster, and when the Swede crossed the finish line, she was far behind the leaders. After one run, Hector is 12th, with a whole 2.77 seconds behind leading Camille Rast.
Both Cornelia Öhlund (18th, 3.35 behind) and Hanna Aronsson Elfman (21st, 3.65) get to ski the second run.
