Previously, Petra Malm and Anders Lundin have taken turns leading TV4's long-running program – Lundin in the spring and Malm in the fall.
But since Petra Malm announced via an Instagram post that she could not participate "because it doesn't work to be away for that period," there has been speculation about who will succeed her. Now it's clear that Martin Järborg, journalist and host of "Nyhetsmorgon" on TV4, will become the new host.
"Robinson 2025 – the biggest adventure of my career! I still remember Robinson's premiere season in 1997, and have been a fan since then," he says in a press release.
The spring season of "Robinson," led by Anders Lundin, premieres at the end of March. The fall season has already begun filming in El Nido in the Philippines.
Caroline Norrby, executive producer of Robinson on TV4, describes Järborg as a "safe and experienced" host.
"He can also offer himself and make viewers and participants laugh when needed," she says in the press release.
