"In two separate incidents, two Hamas soldiers tasked with guarding prisoners from the enemy side, fired at a Zionist prisoner", says the spokesperson for Hamas' armed branch, Abu Obeida, in a statement.
One prisoner was killed immediately and two others, both women, were critically injured, adds Obeida.
In the statement published on Telegram, the hostages were not named, nor was any time specified. Hamas is investigating the events, the terrorist-designated organization further states.
