Last year, Håkan Hellström released a track with Hov1. Now the single "Zoey" is coming, which the Gothenburg icon has recorded with Josef Slunge, who has his roots in the Majorna district.
It's almost unreal. This morning when I was going to post the Instagram post, and started writing "Feat. Håkan Hellström", my thumbs started shaking, says Josef Slunge to Göteborgs-Posten.
The contact between the artists has been through Håkan Hellström's percussionist Finn Björnulfson, who has played with Josef Slunge's dad, and now the rapper sees the popular artist as a role model and mentor.
Håkan Hellström shows off a new side on the track, thinks Josef Slunge:
Håkan is almost rapping, he's "flowing" in a way he might not have done before. So it's probably a sound you're not used to hearing him on, he says to GP.
