Joel Kinnaman and his girlfriend Kelly Gale both have roles in Netflix's upcoming crime series about Norwegian author Jo Nesbø's anti-hero and police commissioner Harry Hole. Peter Stormare and Simon Berger also participate in the series.
The first season is about Norwegian police officer Harry Hole's struggle against a corrupt detective, Tom Waaler, but also about Hole's work to try to catch a serial killer.
Among the Swedes working on the series is also director Anna Zachrisson, who has worked on the Netflix series "Helicopter Heist" which premieres later this fall.
The lead role as Harry Hole is played by Tobias Santelmann, while Joel Kinnaman plays the corrupt detective Tom Waaler.
The recordings take place in Oslo and the series is expected to premiere sometime in 2026.
