German inflation in line with expectations

The German consumer prices rose in February by 0.4 percent compared to January, according to figures from Germany's statistical agency.

This was in line with economists' expectations, according to Bloomberg.

At the same time, inflation rose to 2.3 percent on an annual basis, which was also in line with expectations.
