Taylor Swift continues to conquer the world, now the German city of Gelsenkirchen is changing its name ahead of the American star's visit.
Following a proposal from one of the city's citizens, the city is changing its name to Swiftkirchen in connection with Taylor Swift's concerts on July 17-19.
In the coming time, new city signs in the form of a pink silhouette of Taylor Swift will be put up.
As if it weren't enough, Taylor Swift will also be honored with a special plaque on a central square in the city where other celebrities are honored.
