The first episode of the 27th season of "South Park" drives hard with President Trump. And it seems to have gone home with the viewers - the episode attracted about six million viewers on different platforms.
The episode got 5.9 million viewers on Comedy Central and Paramount+ during its first three days, which is the highest number of linear viewers since 1999. It was also the series' most watched episode ever in social channels. "South Park" trended on X for over 12 hours and was ranked as number 1 for five hours.
In the satirical series' premiere episode, among other things, Donald Trump's relationship with the sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and his legal power over the entertainment industry are commented on.
A new episode of "South Park" comes on Wednesday, August 6.
