In May, the American rock band Foo Fighters unexpectedly fired drummer Josh Freese.
Now, the band reveals that he will be replaced by Ilan Rubin from Nine Inch Nails, where he has been a drummer since 2009, writes The Hollywood Reporter. It is unclear whether Rubin will become a full-time member of Foo Fighters or just a touring drummer.
At the same time, Nine Inch Nails reveals that Rubin will be replaced by Josh Freese, who was a member of the band between 2005-2008.
Foo Fighters are going on tour in October. The band recently celebrated its 30th anniversary by releasing the song "Today's Song".
