Theatre director and artist Robert Wilson has passed away after a short illness. In a statement on Wilson's website, his passing is described as ”peaceful”.
Wilson is known to the Swedish audience, among other things, through his production of Strindberg's ”A Dream Play” at the Stockholm City Theatre. He was also involved in creating ”The Black Rider”, which was performed at the Folkteatern in Gothenburg.
Robert Wilson was 83 years old.
