All 26 nominated new EU commissioners are approved in the initial review conducted by the EU Parliament's legal committee.
"Green light", writes the committee on X, after examining the declarations regarding ownership and potential conflicts of interest that the nominees themselves have reported.
Thus, Swedish Jessika Roswall and the others can now prepare themselves for the next hurdle: the individual hearings to be held on November 4-12.
Roswall has been nominated for the role of EU Commissioner for Environment and Water Resilience and will be heard by the Parliament's Environment Committee during the evening session on November 5.
