One of those who has been looking forward to seeing Kent again is Jessica Westerholm from Borås. She bought a standing ticket – for the experience's sake. Something she now regrets.
If you have to stand and hold your jacket, you can't dance and clap your hands. It becomes an irritation that drags down the whole experience, she says to TT.
She is not alone in feeling that way. The lack of a cloakroom, when it is still chilly outside and the audience is encouraged to travel collectively to the arena, has created upset feelings in social media.
Stockholm Live, which is responsible for the arena, claims that a cloakroom solution is not possible, citing logistics and space.
A cloakroom would involve queues and negatively affect the audience experience, says Kristofer Åkesson, communications manager at Stockholm Live.
He also claims that it is standard at concerts of this size and that it has never created any problems before.
The explanation does not convince Jessica Westerholm, who has been to events of similar size at other arenas – with access to a cloakroom.
If the arena is not suitable, then they should have thought of that beforehand, she says.
