Something exploded on Sunday night in the gate of an apartment building in Enskededalen in southern Stockholm. A young man suspected of being behind the explosion has been arrested.
There are no reports of personal injuries after the explosion, which was reported shortly after 3:45 am. Windows have been shattered in and around the gate.
The police immediately launched a large operation, including the use of helicopters and dog patrols. Less than two hours after the alarm, the police announced that a suspected perpetrator had been arrested.
The site is being examined by technicians and bomb disposal experts to determine what detonated.
The incident is being investigated as reckless endangerment.
