They are two men in their 20s, says the police's press spokesperson Mats Eriksson.

A hand grenade was thrown into a doorway on the ground floor. No one is reported to have been injured, but the hand grenade exploded and caused damage to the doorway of the house.

It's an explosion that has occurred and caused material damage, breaking glass and sprinklers have gone off in the house, says Daniel Wikdahl, press spokesperson at the Stockholm police.

The police were alerted to the scene at 01.20 after a loud bang was heard from the house.

There is no information that the explosion is connected to the shootings on Wednesday evening in Farsta and Brandbergen, south of Stockholm.
