"It is with sadness in my heart but with a huge dose of pride and gratitude that I want to share with you that my journey in the Let's dance jury is over", writes Wilson.

The production and TV4 announced their changes to the program this week, and Wilson wishes the new production "all the best on the road". The day before, Dermot Clemenger announced that he too will be leaving the production, although he does not want to call it being "fired".

According to Aftonbladet, Tony Irving has also received a call from the production, but has been offered to continue. Both Wilson and Irving have participated in all 18 seasons of the program.

In 2024, "Let's dance" has been on hold in the schedule since TV4 announced that they are reviewing the program's content. The production announces that there will be many "exciting changes" when the program starts broadcasting again in 2025.

"Let's dance" premiered on TV4 in 2006 and is based on the British format "Strictly come dancing". The program is broadcast in many countries, in the USA it is called "Dancing with the stars".
