The popular interval entertainment was performed by, among others, Carola, Björn Skifs, Arja Saijonmaa, and Tommy Körberg at Melodifestivalen in 2000. The number, where the artists summarized 40 years of schlager history in 14 minutes, was directed by Hans Marklund.
"I still receive emails and messages from people who think it's the best interval act ever, and many who celebrate by playing the potpourri and singing along", says Hans Marklund in a press release.
Melodifestivalen's Hall of Fame was established in 2020 to honor special achievements and unforgettable Mello-memories in the program's history.
