The TV program Farmen is currently being recorded at a secret location in Kinda municipality. It has not stopped people from entering the area at night with four-wheelers. A tractor used in the program has also been sabotaged.
Micaela Knutas, project manager for the recording, confirms that unauthorized persons have been on the farm.
"It's lovely and fun that there is interest around Farmen, but it also disrupts the recording. And our farmers think it's uncomfortable", writes Micaela Knutas to Corren.
The sabotaged tractor belongs to Farmen profile Hans Wincent. He usually uses it in the program when he visits the farm on various errands. Someone has now removed a part of the engine.
It took some time before I found the fault and the removed part. And they have also let the air out of a tire. But the saboteur has not stolen or destroyed anything, says Wincent to the newspaper.
He sees it as a prank and a very bad joke – but it has had consequences for the program. Wincent could not take the tractor up to the farm as usual after the incident.
I walked instead. But already the next day, I had repaired the tractor and now it's working again.
