In exchange for the admission, the prosecutor dropped three other charges of sexual harassment and an attempted sexual harassment at the same occasion, reports The Guardian.
Busey was accused of touching five women while taking pictures with them during Monster-Mania Convention at a hotel in Cherry Hill, New Jersey 2022. According to the prosecutor, Gary Busey, among other things, touched several women on the buttocks and tried to loosen a woman's bra.
Busey risks up to five years of probation, fines and having to provide DNA samples to the authorities. The verdict is expected to be announced in September.
Busey is known from films like ”Lethal Weapon”, ”Point Break” and ”Under Siege”. He was Oscar-nominated in 1978 for the title role in ”Buddy Holly – a rock legend”.
