Two British diplomats in Russia have had their accreditation withdrawn and have two weeks to leave the country.
The Britons worked at the country's embassy in Moscow. Russian authorities claim to have evidence that the diplomats were involved in intelligence work and "subversive activities" and allege that they provided false information about themselves, writes the state news agency Tass.
"This is not the first time Russia has made malicious and baseless accusations against our staff", counters a spokesperson for the British Foreign Office.
