Eleven people have died in a landslide that hit a house in southeastern China, reports the state Chinese media.
The landslide follows in the wake of Typhoon Gaemi, which passed through the region. Gaemi has been downgraded to a tropical storm since Thursday.
According to state media, the landslide was triggered by water rushing down the mountain after the heavy rain brought by Gaemi.
Nearly 300,000 people in eastern China have been evacuated from their homes due to Gaemi, and state TV shows images of streets transformed into rivers and fallen trees scattered across roads and parks.
