Rescue workers have found eleven bodies since two buses full of people were swept away by a landslide into a river on Friday afternoon, local time.
The bodies were found at different locations along the riverbank and the search effort continues. The first body was discovered about 50 kilometers from the site where the buses were dragged into the river.
At least 66 people were on board the accident-stricken buses.
The monsoon season brings heavy rainfall to Nepal from June to September, which often triggers landslides.
The government has introduced a ban on passenger buses traveling at night in areas where landslide warnings have been issued.
