A man in his 85s has been injured in an apartment fire in Malmö. He is being treated in hospital with serious injuries, according to Region Skåne.
The alarm about the fire in a multi-family house came at 4 pm on Tuesday.
Smoke divers found the man in the apartment and helped him out.
The fire started in the bedroom, says Fredrik Stark Kristell, commanding officer at the rescue service, to Sydsvenskan.
The police will investigate the circumstances surrounding how the fire started.
