A man in his 70s has died in an apartment fire on Södermalm in Stockholm.
The rescue service and police were called to the multi-family house on Saturday afternoon, where the fire had broken out on an attic floor.
It's possible that another apartment was smoke-damaged, but only one apartment was affected by the actual fire, says Ola Österling, the police's press spokesperson.
It is still unclear what caused the fire, which was quickly extinguished. The apartment has been cordoned off, and an investigation into gross negligence has been initiated.
