Thousands were left without water during the night towards Saturday after a large water leak occurred in Dalaberg in Uddevalla, when water gushed up from a street well. This reports Bohusläningen.
The rescue service and Västvatten quickly responded to limit the damage.
Several thousand households between Dalaberg and Kurveröd were affected by water shutdown or low pressure. At 01 hour the leak was stopped, but water remained on the ground.
