Ugandan Olympic Games marathon runner died in Kenya after her boyfriend allegedly set her on fire. Rebecca Cheptegei, who finished 44th in the Paris Olympic Games, was 33 years old.

The boyfriend was severely injured and died on Monday evening.

Pole vault star Armand Duplantis reacts strongly to the incident.

It's terrible and something you hate to see. I don't have all the information, but it seems completely brutal. It's just crap, he says at a press conference in Brussels.

The 24-year-old Duplantis is in Belgium to finish the season in the same way it has looked all the time.

The pole vault star has won all the competitions he has entered, which has resulted in European Championship and Olympic Games gold. In addition, he has broken the world record three times, most recently taking himself over 6.26 meters in Katowice, Poland.

I think it will be my fourth title if I win, he says.

I'm ready. I haven't done much between competitions, so I've had time to rest and recover.

The Swede tops the list with 48 points, and one point behind is American Sam Kendricks.

I look forward to holding that trophy again, says Armand Duplantis.

You always want to finish the year well, it makes everything a little extra special and that you keep motivation throughout the entire season.
