In TV4's Morning News, presenter Malin Stenbäck reports directly from the recordings in Greece that Valentin is not on site – and that he will not participate in the program.

Valentin is not here, due to family reasons he cannot participate in this season with us. He is doing well, but he will not be able to be the bachelor, says Malin in the program.

The 29-year-old system developer Kronlund sought love in the spring's "Bachelorette Sweden", where he made it to the final but fell at the finish line when the rose instead went to William Palmblad. However, in the season finale, it was announced that Valentin would get a new chance at love, this time as the bachelor.

Now he is replaced by a new guy from the same season, Christopher Stein, who also went far in the program.
