Mark Chavez is one of five people being prosecuted in the scandal surrounding Perry's death. Chavez has admitted to providing the star with drugs. The admission is made to avoid trial and reach a settlement with the court.

The "Friends" star was found dead in his pool in Los Angeles last October. During the autopsy, doctors found traces of the drug ketamine in his blood.

Among the five suspects are Perry's assistant, two doctors, and a woman known as the "ketamine queen".

The suspects are said to have discussed Perry's death shortly after it occurred and together tried to destroy evidence and conceal their involvement in the events.
