Dennis Lyxzén, singer in the hardcore band Refused, has suffered a heart attack.
"Thanks to the wonderful doctors and nurses at Uppsala hospital, I'm still here to fight another day", he writes on Instagram.
The heart attack, which Lyxzén describes as massive, occurred on Thursday morning.
"Under the circumstances, I feel okay", he writes and adds that he is experiencing pain, fatigue and is "really shaken".
The band was due to play at the Rosendal Garden Party festival in Stockholm on Friday, but the show has been cancelled.
"I really hate cancelling shows, but the doctor said no rock for a couple of weeks."
On the other hand, he says he can recover "hopefully sooner rather than later" with the help of medication.
