According to Danish TV2, the Danish Football Association has been fined.

This is after a Danish supporter held up a banner with the message "Fuck Uefa" during the match against England.

The fine is reportedly set to be 10,000 euros, equivalent to approximately 112,000 Swedish kronor.

Erik Brøgger Rasmussen, director of the Danish Football Association, states that the association will pay the fine for the time being, but has launched a hunt for the person responsible for the banner.

The most important thing for us, and what we will start with now, is that we identify the person who brought in the banner. Then we will send the bill, says Brøgger and continues:

If we find them, they will pay. We hope that the people who can think of bringing a banner with that kind of message into the arena will think twice. It is, after all, a fine of 75,000 Danish kronor, he concludes.

Denmark plays its final and decisive group stage match on Tuesday, when they face Serbia.

Corrected: In an earlier version, the wrong day was stated for Denmark's final group stage match.
