Danske Bank, one of the challengers on the Swedish mortgage market, is raising the interest rate on mortgages with terms of 1-10 years by 0.15-0.30 percentage points, the bank writes in a press release.
The background to the adjustments is rising market interest rates, which have increased the borrowing costs, the bank writes in its justification of the decision.
The interest rate on mortgages with a three-month binding period, so-called floating interest rate, is not being adjusted.
Last week, SBAB also raised its fixed mortgage rates, while leaving the floating interest rate unchanged.
