The move comes after reports that, among others, nature photographers have used bait to try to lure wolves to them.
This is in connection with our wolf surveillance, where reports have emerged that this is happening, says Jens Skovager Østergaard at the Environmental Protection Agency.
According to statistics collected during the summer, there may be around 40 adult wolves in Denmark. At least six pairs are believed to have had pups this season.
We have a number of pups on their way out into the landscape. They are more open to habituation with humans than adult wolves are, says Skovager Østergaard.
All Danish wolves are found on Jutland.
