The restaurant chain Vapiano has economic problems in Sweden. Now Vapiano has applied for reconstruction, writes Expressen.
The German chain has been in Sweden since 2007 and in 2020 it was close to the entire Swedish part going bankrupt.
"The Swedish Vapiano group has continuously implemented large savings to counteract the situation, but the crises have succeeded each other", it says in the application for reconstruction that the Stockholm District Court has approved, writes the newspaper.
The plan is now to implement further savings and sell three of the six remaining restaurants.
