Since the woman claimed to be in a difficult situation, the plaintiffs felt sorry for her and helped her with significant amounts, said prosecutor John Stålbert before the trial.
One of the victims was also subjected to blackmail by the husband, who called and claimed to have a leading position in a motorcycle gang.
The woman is sentenced to probation and contract treatment, while the man is sentenced to three years and nine months in prison and lifetime expulsion.
