In the midst of an ongoing boycott against the food giants, Coop Syd is giving notice of 160 jobs. Both store staff and employees at the service offices in Skåne and Blekinge are affected.
Coop Syd operates 98 stores and has for a longer period struggled with poor profitability.
"It's a tough day for our employees, but unfortunately, it's an unavoidable decision", says acting CEO Stefan Nyrinder in a press release.
