Colombia's government and the left-wing guerrilla group National Liberation Army (ELN) have agreed to resume the interrupted peace process.
In a joint statement, the parties say they will resume peace talks on November 19, two months after President Gustavo Petro broke off the talks following an ELN attack on a military base that killed three and injured 28 soldiers.
ELN is the largest of the armed groups still active in Colombia since the government signed an agreement with the much larger Marxist rebel group Farc, which was disarmed in 2017 after more than 50 years of war against the state.
Last week, Petro's staff quoted his chief negotiator, Vera Grabe, as saying that a resumption of the ceasefire would be one of the issues on the table.
