"Barncancergalan – the Swedish Humour Prize" is celebrating its tenth anniversary, and Carina Berg is hosting the gala for the ninth consecutive year.
"When life is at its toughest, we need laughter the most, and that's why I love this gala," says Carina Berg, who recently led Melodifestivalen, in a press release.
Eight prizes will be awarded during the evening to Swedish humour profiles, who will be rewarded with the Papphammar statuette. Additionally, there will be performances by artists and comedians interspersed with powerful stories. At the same time, a collection will be held to support the Children's Cancer Foundation.
This will be the tenth year that "Barncancergalan – the Swedish Humour Prize" is being held to contribute to and support children's cancer research and the fight against children's cancer.
The gala will be broadcast live from Berns on 30 September on Viaplay and TV3.
