A car has flipped over and landed in Lake Lilla Vrången outside Västervik.
According to the rescue service, one person was in the car when it drove off the road. The person's injuries are still unclear, and the incident is assessed as a single-vehicle accident.
The rescue service is on site, and one person is injured. The person was pulled out by passersby and has been loaded into an ambulance, says the rescue service's lead operator to TT.
The car has sunk, and the rescue service has been on site with divers who have searched the surrounding area. They have not found any more people in the water.
The alarm came in just before 5 pm on Thursday.
