Camilla Henemark makes a theater comeback in a re-interpretation of Shakespeare's "The Tempest", in Swedish Radio's project Scenen – Shakespeare for all. Nanna Olasdotter Hallberg transforms Shakespeare's classic drama into a contemporary political satire, and Camilla Henemark plays Ariel, but in the form of an Onlyfans star.
"I love Nanna's wonderful, wild fantasy that is still so incredibly spot on contemporary. It was a bit of a dream to get to work with her", says Henemark in a press release.
The former Army of Lovers star also sings a specially written composition by musician Jonas Lundqvist. Others participating include Johannes Kuhnke and Olle Sarri.
Scenen is Swedish Radio Drama's project of re-interpretations of Shakespeare's plays. In 2025, "Hamlet", "Romeo and Juliet" and "A Winter's Tale" will also be featured.
