A bus driver is being prosecuted for reckless driving after two accidents outside Luleå. In the accidents, which both occurred in October, the driver is suspected of having fallen asleep and then driven into a ditch, local media report.
In the first accident on October 11, around 20 people were on board the bus, including several schoolchildren and preschoolers. No one was physically injured.
In the second ditch accident, there were also schoolchildren on board the bus. No one was injured in the accident either.
The bus driver, who is in their 70s, denies any wrongdoing.
