A 15-year-old boy shot a 14-year-old boy in the face on a school toilet in Huddinge south of Stockholm. The victim was seriously injured but survived the shot.

Now the 15-year-old is sentenced to closed youth care for two years and two months for attempted murder, preparation for murder, and aggravated weapons offense, reports SVT.

The incident took place in September last year.

In the subsequent investigation, the police found chats on the boy's phone where it emerged that he had taken on a murder assignment for an unknown person and that he had possessed the pistol in his possession for several days before the shot at the school – which is not believed to have had anything to do with the murder assignment.

In the interrogation, he claims that he shot his classmate by mistake. The victim, in turn, believes that it was undoubtedly a deliberate shot.
