A 25-year-old man was found dead in an apartment in Knivsta at the beginning of September, and the police suspect that he may have been dead for up to a week. A man has been arrested in his absence, suspected of murder, reports SVT News Uppsala.
The suspected man, aged 30, was arrested on Tuesday.
We have not yet located this man, so there is strong preliminary investigation secrecy, says prosecutor Hedda Wittbom Skog to SVT.
The police state that the deceased man died at some point between August 29 and when he was found six days later.
I cannot comment on or explain that at present, says Wittbom Skog.
