Bob Dylan has recorded a cover version of Cole Porter's "Don't fence me in" for the upcoming film about Ronald Reagan, according to NME. The film "Reagan" premieres in the USA on August 30 and the role of Ronald Reagan is played by Dennis Quaid.

According to Quaid, Bob Dylan was given free rein to choose which song he wanted to record.

Gene Simmons from Kiss has also recorded a song for the film: "Stormy weather", previously interpreted by, among others, Billie Holiday and Etta James, while country artist Clint Black has sung John Denver's classic "Country road". Country singer Tanya Tucker is also said to have contributed, but with which song has not yet been made public.
