Be cautious of people who claim to call, or otherwise contact you, from Handelstorget or Skandova and want to offer you deals in securities.
The companies do not have permits to conduct securities business and according to the Financial Supervisory Authority (FI), the companies do not exist.
"Always be on your guard when you are contacted and do not do business with companies you do not know. If you become uncertain, check that the company has a permit from FI in our company register before you let them handle your money", says consumer protection economist Moa Langemark at FI in a press release.
