Fanny Roos threw over 19 meters for the first time this year – twice – when she won a shot put competition at Malmö Stadium.
The 29-year-old threw 19.04 meters in the fifth and second-to-last round and 19.10 in the sixth and final round. Alice Hultberg came second in the competition with a best result of 11.70.
Fanny Roos' best result of the year before the competition was 18.99 from a competition in Germany two months ago.
In just over three weeks, August 8-9, the women's shot put event will be decided at the Summer Olympics in Paris.
