Three people are reported to have been killed and over ten injured in a Russian drone attack on the port city of Izmajil in the Ukrainian region of Odessa.
Among the injured are at least one child, according to Governor Oleh Kiper on Telegram.
According to Kiper, who calls the attack "a large-scale terrorist attack", several buildings in the city have been damaged and multiple fires have broken out.
Izmajil is located on the Danube River in southwestern Ukraine, near the border with NATO country Romania. During the attack, a Russian drone is said to have passed over Romanian airspace, according to the Defense Department in Bucharest. As a result, Romanian and Spanish fighter jets were sent into the air and residents of the Romanian city of Tulcea were urged to seek shelter.
