The US-born Briton has been under house arrest since the end of August 2024, when the authorities raided his home. Andrew Tate is accused of, among other things, rape, trafficking of minors, and organizing a criminal group for the sexual exploitation of women.

His brother Tristan Tate has also been under surveillance by the authorities.

Andrew Tate has dismissed the case as a "conspiracy" and the Romanian judiciary has partly followed the influencer's line and decided in December that the human trafficking charges will not go to court for now. The case is instead being sent back to the prosecutor, after "irregularities" were found in the investigation.

The two brothers are also suspected of crimes in the UK and in December, it was announced that British police will seize the equivalent of over 27 million Swedish kronor in unpaid taxes from them.

The brothers deny the allegations.
