Pedro Almodóvar's "The room next door", Mike Leigh's "Hard truths" and Luca Guadagnino's "Queer" – these are some of the films that now complete the list of those that in December will compete for the European Film Academy's annual awards.

The list of the additional sixteen films also includes, among others, Edward Berger's "The Conclave", Egil Pedersen's Norwegian-Swedish "My father's daughter" and Joshua Oppenheimer's "The end".

It has been clear for some time that, among others, Levan Akin's "Passage" and Magnus von Horn's "The girl with the needle" will compete.

The awards ceremony will take place in Lausanne, Switzerland on December 7.
