Tove Alexandersson won O-ringen for the twelfth time when she crossed the finish line with a winning margin of over nine minutes after the fifth and final stage.

On the men's side, it was Emil Svensk who, for the first time at senior level, took home the overall victory.

"I'm really happy about the week overall", says Alexandersson, Stora Tuna OK, after the race according to a press release from the Swedish Orienteering Federation.

Second on the women's side came Hanna Lundberg from OK Renen, followed by Simona Aebersold, IFK Göteborg Orientering.

Emil Svensk, Stora Tuna OK, was around three minutes ahead of his little brother Viktor Svensk, from the same club, who came in second. Third place went to Anton Johansson, OK Orion.

"I've been participating in O-Ringen since I was ten years old and have been close to an overall victory many times before. It feels nice to wrap it up like this at senior level and take an overall victory", says Emil Svensk.

This year's O-ringen was held on the Småland coast.
